New work: Fall at Lake Still

Living in the northeast US, I don’t get to see many swans(I see mostly geese), but they usually can be found in parts of Canada and the Midwest….and your local zoo

New work: Evening Song

"Evening Song"

This primarily colored pencil piece is of two American Goldfinch, going about their day of foraging and song.

I chose purple to balance the yellow of the goldfinch. Purple is also supposed to be the color of royalty, so it works with the golden yellow splendidly.
